Loving and affectionate; is Rubi the one for you??

Rubi is an active girl looking for the perfect home for her needs. She can be initially shy when meeting men, but is friendly towards women, and is an absolute delight once she knows you mean her no harm.

Rubi has never lived with young children so would be best suited to a home with older, or no, children. She loves canine company and currently lives with three Border Collies so would appreciate a dog of similar size and energy in her new home.

Rubi is good with livestock but can't live with chickens. She is untested with cats and other small animals.

Rubi walks well on the lead and rarely barks, although she will bark if strangers or other animals are too near. She doesn't appear to be scared of noises, storms etc, and doesn't appear to be destructive. She is also not food aggressive.

Rubi has a medium energy level and will require a good walk at least once a day. She loves to play with her ball in the afternoon.

Rubi knows basic commands such as sit, down, stay and come, and would benefit from a family who are able to work with her to teach her some more skills.

Rubi loves to swim at the beach and go for runs; in summary she is a quiet, sweet, playful sweet looking heeler who loves a bit of affection. She would be best suited to a semi-rural or rural property with a large yard for her to run in.
