Ellie ~ kelpie x, 8 months (on trial 16/02/17)

Meet Ellie! Ell is a sweet faced, approximately 8 month old Kelpie puppy. She is always happy and loves people. She's a very smart, loyal and trusting dog. Good with children and other dogs.

Ellie is such a sweet girl and wants to be involved in everything. She will be your shadow everywhere you go. She doesn't run around crazily like a typical puppy, she is more calm and laid back. She enjoys lounging around having cuddles on the couch with her foster family.

Ellie is currently learning basic commands. She knows her name, how to sit and is getting very good at walking on the lead. She is also toilet trained. She is very smart so with more training she will be an excellent canine good citizen.

Ell's foster home has 5ft high fences and she has shown no signs of trying to jump them. There are horses, cows and goats on the other side of the fence which don't bother her at all. But the chickens do look pretty interesting to her.

Ellie's foster home has a 6yr old boy and 1yr old girl whom she adores. She loves to lick them though which they don't always appreciate. It's only because she loves them.

Ell has been to the beach a few times but doesn't seem interested in the water. She just sits with the towels until it's time to go. She has a shell pool in her yard that she will get in to cool off.

Ellie sleeps outside with the other dogs in a large kennel. She enjoys coming inside to spend time with people, especially on hot days. She is fine with other dogs. She currently lives with 2 other smaller dogs and she tries to play with them but they are a bit older and not interested in playing. She is happy enough playing in the yard with her toys.

The best home for Ellie would be either a family or a couple willing to make her part of the family, let her inside and give her lots of affection.

Ellie's adoption fee is $450 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.
