Pound no. 260 to 265 - listed 24 november. Six pups were delivered to the shelter in a box on saturday.  the owner, who had previously spoken to our staff and been told that couldn't take them due to renovations, decided to "dump" these pups in a box at a food outlet in the st george area. Our staff had also advised him to get his dog desexed so that she couldn't have anymore pups.  he hung up on us! all shelter dogs and puppies come desexed, wormed, microchipped, lifetime registered with your local council and have had their first vaccination. In addition, adult dogs will be heartworm tested and and dogs in foster care will have a booster vaccination (a small additional fee applies to dogs in foster care to cover this).
