ELLA

Ella was rescued from being PTS at a pound in Cowra. Her background is unknown. What we do know is, that whatever life has put this girl through, she has come out the other end better and even more beautiful. Her nature is just heartwarming (says one of her carers who used to not even like dogs at all). Ella is all you could ever want in a dog.

She is ever so grateful for human company, but not demanding. Eg, she will cuddle up right next to you and enjoy you patting her, but is equally fine when you have to leave her. She doesn't bark, unless a quick "whoof"/"hello" when she sees a cat for the first time (or there's an intruder). She doesn't jump up on you or slobber all over you, though she will show you how happy she is, by coming close, looking into your eyes and wanting to be patted.

She likes following you around, and is easily handled on a lead, even by a child. Doesn't run away, doesn't jump fences, or even attempt to escape, but happily walks with you, sniffing her neighbourhood, or strolls around your yard, then finds a comfy spot to rest or snooze in.

Ella is underweight, so has a ravenous appetite. To help her gain weight, she currently gets multiple smaller meals a day, and seems to like everything. She gratefully chomps down dry food, canned food and raw meat (each at a separate meal, not all mixed together).

Ella loves children, and gets on well with other dogs and cats, too. Though she seems a bit afraid of cats. She loves getting in the car and be taken on adventures.
