Hi! My name is Carlos. I’m a way-too-cute, 12 month old Terrier X, and I’m looking for my forever home.

I’m a very sweet boy with a lovely nature, who just can’t get enough cuddles!

I do love a play with other friendly dogs and I’m also fine with older kids … I don’t mind smaller children, but I can sometimes get a bit over excited and may accidentally knock them over. As far as cats go, I’ve met some I like & others that I’m wary of… I’m not really sure what they are to be honest, I’m still trying to work that out.

Since I’ve been with my foster family I’ve learnt to sit and come when called. I also sit, stay & wait for my food. I’m toilet trained & I’m learning to sleep in my own bed inside (my foster mum has spoilt me a little too much, and has let me nap on the couch at times though.. she says that I’m lucky I’m cute..!)

I would best suit a home with humans that are as loving & affectionate as I am, and would be able to continue my training so I get more confident … but also willing to let me be an inside dog for some of the time. I think I’d be more comfy with a family who is home more often than not, as I really love the company, and will need daily walks as I’m pretty active.

I might be a little needy at times … but I promise to be a loyal and loving friend always in return!

Loud noises can still make me jump a little and I can get a bit nervous in ‘high energy’ situations. But my confidence is building as I settle in.

I’ll be honest… I can be a bit vocal & have been known to chew a thing or two when bored. My foster mum thinks I might be re-living my puppy phase! If I’m caught being naughty though I’ve learned to ‘drop it’ and look innocent…

I am improving all the time with patience, love, training & a good stash of chew toys!
