About Matilda
Matilda is an enthusiastic, fun loving pup. She loves playing with her littermate brother and her much, much larger foster brother (dog). Being so young the world is full of wonder and new things to explore every day.
Toilet training is a work in progress, but she is doing really well. At night time Matilda sleeps in a contained area inside. She tries very hard not to soil in this area and most times will make noise to get your assistance to take her outside.
She loves playing with toys and chewing on deer antler pieces.
Whilst loving spending time with her humans she currently doesn’t want to be a lap dog – despite looking so cute and tiny. She will happily come and curl up beside your feet when she gets tired though.
Matilda is currently being supported to learn to eat a little slower, and with time and consistency she will get the hang of this. She is a smart little pup who is very bright and will do well with ongoing training to help her to be the best and happiest dog that she can be.
It is expected that Matilda will be a medium sized dog (maybe on the smaller side of medium), but without knowing her full genetic make-up it is more of a guess than actual science.
If Matilda sounds like your kinda gal please get in touch with the Safe Haven Adoptions coordinator to find out more and maybe arrange to meet her.
Medical notes
Matilda will be desexed, vaccinated & microchipped.
