About Lucky Upton
Lucky Upton is such a lovely little man. He’s very relaxed, agreeable, sweet and gentle. Lucky is great with people and other dogs. He greets everyone with a leg kiss and doesn’t jump up. Everybody adores him! His foster family have taken him to cafes and beer gardens and he loves to sit under the table and watch the world go by. Pats from anyone who offers are always well received. Lucky is also happy to be picked up and carried.
Lucky love his walks and is quite energetic. He’s a quiet soul but is packed full of energy when it’s exercise time. Lucky adores being out and about and although he knows what “sit” means and when inside he has good recall he does tend to forget his commands when out in the big wide world. There are so many wonderful temptations. Who could blame him?
At Lucky’s current home there are two Indian Mynahs that visit their garden and Lucky is quite content watching them steal his food. Although he is fond of most creatures, Lucky’s new home will be feline free as he has a tendency to bark at cats.
Lucky has a heart full of love and will be a loyal and devoted companion. Although he adores his foster family he can’t wait to find some special people to call his own.
Please note: our dogs are not available for interstate adoption. We also do not adopt to people under the age of 25 years.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you too as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
