About Rusty
Meet Rusty the 8 month old male Koolie Cross that is looking for a forever home.
What we know about Rusty and the home he needs;
Rehomed with other dogs - Yes most definitely.
Rehomed with Cats - Yes tolerant ones
Rehomed with infants and toddlers - No
Rehomed with school aged children - Yes
Rehomed to be an exercise partner - Yes
Rehomed to be a back yard dog only - No
Rusty loves hanging with other dogs, so a home with a doggy companion that is tolerant of a playful boy with lots of energy to burn would be great.
Rusty is ok with cats, but can be in their face wanting to play. So a tolerant cat is ok.
Rusty needs a human that will have time to continue his training and to exercise his body and mind lots. If his mind and body is not kept active then he can become destructive (like any typical puppy).
Rusty is house trained and loves to be inside with his humans in the evenings.
Rusty is not suitable to be rehoused with infants or toddlers due to his high energy and tendency to jump up on people (just can't contain his excitement).
Rusty comes desexed, microchipped, health checked, vaccinated, flea and worm treated. His adoption fee is $400 and this helps HPAWS to cover some of his veterinary treatment.
