Diesel

Hi, my name is Diesel and I like long walks on the beach, romantic dinners and cuddling...oh. Ahem. Wrong place? Right, sorry. I really do mean that cuddling thing though! And I loooooooooove food!

I'm a young guy who has had a bit of a rough start and didn't have anyone to teach me how polite dogs behave. This can make me a bit impulsive but I'm learning my manners and I don't even counter surf anymore! Well...most of the time! My foster mum and dad are amazed at how quickly I learn, but they say that I'm going to need someone to continue my training so I'm the perfect dog one day!

I'm high energy, not your typical Dane at all! My dream job would be your personal trainer. If you want to go for runs and get fit then I'm the dog for you! My foster mum says I'm an excellent running buddy! I can be destructive if I don't get enough exercise (although I maintain that toy exploded all by itself!) and I love walks where I can sniff all the smells. While I probably wouldn't mind being on my own while you're at work all day, (as long as I get a walk every day) I would prefer to have a fur sister who can play a bit rough with me or (even better) a human who is at home a bit to keep me company and give me cuddles.

I'm pretty strong, so do need someone with some muscles to walk me (I told you I'd be your perfect personal trainer!) until I learn to walk politely. I can also get excited and do zoomies so small children probably aren't for me, I might accidentally knock them over! Older kids would definitely be ok though. I'm not sure how I feel about cats or other animals yet, I haven't met them but they might be a bit too tempting for me to chase.
