About Oliver ~ 7mo Mastiff x puppy (On Trial 24/6/17)
Oliver (or Ollie) is a sweet 7 month old mastiff x boy. He is gentle, cuddly and loves everyone.
Oliver gets on great with people, kids and other dogs of all sizes. He has even had some exposure to cats, horses and chickens and likes them too. He isn't scared, he is very calm around them and doesn’t pay much attention to them. He is growing into a medium-large sized dog.
Oliver seeks out people for pats and cuddles and is always eager to please. It is important that he has access to inside and people time as he seeks human time and companionship. Oliver is a clever boy - he has already learnt to sit, shake, comes to his name and is learning more as he goes. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Oliver is well socialised with doggy friends. He loves to run and chase around other dogs – it’s playtime. Because he will be a big boy, if you have children it would be ideal if they are used to big dogs.
Ollie is currently in foster care with his shepherd x foster sister and absolutely loves her. They love sharing toys, sticks, balls and he shows no food aggression towards her with dinner, bones or treats.
The person or family that gets to adopt Ollie will be so lucky and happy with this beautifully natured boy.
For more information or to meet Oliver, please contact his foster carer Talia on 0438 343 438 or email talia.guise@hotmail.com. Oliver is located in Berkeley Vale on the Central Coast of NSW.
Oliver's adoption fee is $450, this includes desexing, vaccinations and microchipping, flea and worm treatment. You can see all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
