About Chandy
Chandy arrived into care as a terrified and confused little man. Well it's amazing what a difference some time and love can do for a dog, because this sweet little boy now feels like he belongs and has won the hearts of his foster family!
Whilst he doesn't interact too much with the bigger dogs in his foster home, Chandy enjoys playing with his smaller doggie friends and has just recently discovered squeaky toys....These provide him with endless entertainment.
Chandy enjoys his walks and will happily walk alongside you. Loud noises do tend to make him a little nervous, but this is something that is being worked on while in his foster home. He will sit, shake (both paws) and responds well to his name when called. His favourite thing in the world is belly rubs, and will roll over and wait for them to start when his humans approach.
No food aggression has been displayed while in his foster home and he is very gentle when taking food from your hand. Chandy is toilet trained inside the home as long as he has access to the outdoors and is very trainable.
Chandy is young and full of life, but while he is an active dog, he is far from high energy. A short daily walk makes him happy and being an active member of the home is what he's looking for. The choice to live both inside and outside with his humans is what Chandy needs. He will happily enjoy the company of his furry friends outside while your at work and will let you know how much he missed you when you arrive home.
We would love to see Chandy go to a home where he will have another little active, playful friend to keep him company. He does show a little anxiety when hearing unfamiliar sounds and will bark to let you know he's feeling anxious.
Chandy has had all his vet work done and all ready to head off to his new home. He is currently located in Lake Munmorah, on the Central Coast, NSW.

Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
