About Bucket
Yes, you've read that correctly - his name is Bucket! A silly name for a goofy personality. Bucket is a cattle dog mixed with kelpie; he is a confident dog with a very adventurous spirit.
Whether you're a tradie wanting a dog to bring with you on the job, or an outdoorsy family looking for an active companion to take out for bush walks, to the beach and to be included as a new member of the family, Bucket is will make a very loyal companion for a committed owner.
Bucket loves nothing more than a game of fetch, a romp around the yard and then afterwards he's happiest receiving belly rubs or might climb into your lap for a cuddle. Although he's active, now that he's six years old he's calmed down in temperament and enjoys hanging out on your lap just as much as going out for a run.
Bucket is highly food motivated and eager to please during training sessions. He is already trained with basic commands including come, sit and down. Bucket is not suitable for small children that he may knock over. Bucket needs to be the only pet in the home so that he can lap up all the attention to himself.
Bucket is a matured canine who prefers the company of human companions, he is not suitable to be rehomed with other animals or to be taken to off-leash dog parks.
Bucket is very smart and enjoys investigating his surroundings, he needs to have a nice yard with secure fencing/gates all-round.
If you are looking for a fun-loving addition to your family, Bucket could be just what you are looking for!
All AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, health checked by a veterinarian, assessed by our behaviourist, vaccinated and treated for the prevention of fleas and worms.
