About Rustafuz *On Trial in His New Home*
*RUSTAFUZ IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Ok! So I need to lose a few kgs! I over indulged at Christmas and my waist line has gone missing. Know what I'm talking about? Hey - perhaps we could walk off our extra Christmas tum together?
The name is Rustafuz ... bet you've never heard that before! My other family called me Rusta for short (and my foster mum calls me Wombat - how rude!) My fur mum was an Australian Terrier and dad was a Kelpie, so I'm a bit of a mixture - but you can't deny I am very cute with my furry face!
Here's my story: I grew up with a family who had kids, dogs and a cat ... and I got along well with all of them (I even shared my sleeping quarters with the cat) but their circumstances have changed and I am now living with 6 dogs and my foster parents on a large farm in North West Victoria. I have always been an outside dog and am perfectly happy pottering around outside either by myself or with a fur friend, but I could probably be tempted to join you on the couch for a cuddle. I don't climb, jump or bark much. I quite like digging a little hole and sitting in it to keep cool, but I'm happy with one, I won't put craters in your yard. I'm good in the car and enjoy a trip and meeting new friends. I think I'd be better with older kids as sometimes little ones pull my whiskers and annoy me. I'm a friendly bloke and adore a tummy scratch or a pat, and like having a fur clip done in the warmer months as my coat is wiry and thick (yep, that'd be the terrier in me).
I don't have much of an idea about roads, so I'd need a nice home with a fence to keep me safe (doesn't have to be high - does it look like I can jump?!) And I'm happy to wander around with you in the garden and keep you company, or sit at your feet on the veranda and get an ear scratch.
So let's share our New Years Resolution to get fit! We can find our waists together! Hope to hear from you soon ....

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
