Roxanne is a very beautiful & affectionate girl. She is also a smart cookie and has quickly picked up "gentle" when receiving treats & food and also waits for the okay to eat her dinner.

Roxanne is very inquisitive and loves "helping" with whatever you're doing; she follows like a shadow, especially when you're heading to the kitchen & she adores going for drives with you, too. Her face absolutely lights up when you play with her, she enjoys tug of war & can play fetch with two balls at once!

Roxanne likes to be indoors with you & is house trained and well behaved. She is also happy to spend some time outside, and will occasionally ask to be let out if it gets too noisy inside (she likes her peace & quiet!), but as a dog who spent her pre-rescue life locked out in the yard 24/7 - she must be allowed indoors as a part of the family.

Roxanne is such a lovely dog who just loves to be around you. She quite content to be the only dog at home. A large male buddy for company may suit pending introduction, though she is not suited to small dogs or cats.

As Roxanne is a big strong girl but doesn't know it, she's looking for a strong, confident person, couple or older family (currently living in a family with teens). Her people should be experienced with large breeds & willing continue her training, particularly with lead work. She loves to play with the water from the hose, so you will have fun keeping cool together!
