About Sasha
Sasha is a gorgeous girl with a beautiful temperament to match. You will not find a more placid and calm two year old German Shepherd anywhere.
Sasha is a huge sook and will happily sit for ages while you’re stroking her. She also loves to spoon on the couch. Sasha is absolutely wonderful with children and is very loving and gentle with them.
Sasha is not an especially active dog for her age, and is quite happy with a little game of fetch and a half an hour stroll every day. She is a dream to walk with lovely lead manners, heels when asked to and keeps a nice loose lead when allowed to walk ahead and sniff. She also does “sit” and “shake” on command and is learning “down”. Takes food gently from your hand and is not food governed.
Sasha is very good with dogs of similar size but like most females of the breed she likes to be the top dog, and so would suit a friendly male companion. Due to her high prey drive, she is unsuited to be homed with cats, pocket pets and livestock.
She travels well in a vehicle and is quiet and happiest when she can be with her humans.
Sasha has an eye condition called “pannus” which requires twice daily drops in her eyes. This condition has not affected her vision at all but this condition could worsen with high exposure to UV light and so we are seeking a home that will allow Sasha to have inclusion in the home for the brighter hours of the day. Sasha is fully house trained and non-destructive, and can be left alone inside the house with no issues.
Sasha has a semi-long coat with stunning feathering that will require some brushing to keep Sasha looking her regal best. She is quite happy to be brushed and has even fallen asleep while being groomed. Sasha has areas of dry, skin, and so we are feeding her BARF (a low-allergen raw diet) with oils and supplements to combat it. She is quite petite, weighing in at 25kg and the BARF diet is also helping her put on some weight.
Sasha is being fostered in Hornsby. Please contact Linda if you would like to meet this stunningly lovely girl.
Please be prepared to be asked details of the home you will
provide for this gentle good natured and attentive girl if you wish to adopt her.
Medical notes
Sasha is desexed, vaccinated C5 and has received a yeary Heart worm injection. Sasha also has a common eye condition called Pannus which is treated with eye drops. Her medication will come with her with a six months supply.
