Diesel

This adorable boy is Diesel.
Diesel has a lot of love to offer and will be a very loyal companion. He has an extremely sweet and affectionate nature and will happily soak up all the pats and belly rubs you have to offer!

Considering he is still young he has more to learn and would benefit from obedience training to help him understand what his people expect from him. This will also develop a wonderful bond between him and his family. With further training and guidance Diesel will be a wonderful addition to almost any family. He is a very smart boy who aims to please his people and catches on very quickly to new commands.
He has learnt to sit and has very nice manners.

Diesel is toilet trained and can hold on overnight. He sleeps inside in his foster home so he can feel safe and has very nice manners when he is indoors. We would like to see him offered a bed inside in his new home so he can settle in quickly and feel like an important part of his new family

Diesel is currently living with a female dog of similar size and they get along really well. He enjoys the company of a doggy friend and will be looking for a home where he will have a similar sized desexed playmate to share his days with while his family are going about their day.

Diesel is very social and loves meeting new people. Regular outings and daily walks will continue to build his confidence and help him adjust to his new life. He walks quite well on lead but still needs the occasional reminder that it isn't a race. He will listen and is easily corrected.
His carer is still working on his recall. He does get excited in new environments and forgets to listen when he is being spoken to as there are too many other things going on that he wants to be a part of.

This boy has a lot of love to offer and we know he will flourish in his new home and enjoy lots of fun opportunities.
We have not had Diesel around young children while he has been in our care but considering his lovely nature we think he would show respect towards them. We always recommend constant supervision with any dog in the company of children.
He is currently living with cats and likes to chase them but only out of fun. With guidance he will understand acceptable manners around them.
