About Kiyone
Kiyone has to be one of the most stunning foster cats I have ever had. She is so immensely affectionate. We believe her to be a ragdoll mix, as she is incredibly floppy and lazy.
She is not an active or loud cat. She spends most her day following you around. But becareful! It only takes seconds to activate "flop mode", and she'll be laying on, around or behind your feet!! We have to be careful where we walk in this house, and spend most of our time looking DOWN in case she has flopped. She loves snuggles and to sit on your lap. She will take any attention you will give her, but you best be prepared to reach down for it, as she is rarely standing!!
Kiyone came into care early November, heavily pregnant and ready to pop. Within 24 hours of being in my care, she gave us six beautiful babies, 4 boys and 2 girls. Her kittens are now 11 weeks old, fully weaned and ready for adoption just like her. (See; Mathias, Ajax, Marcus, Lenore, Kenshi and Tennyo).
Kiyone gets on well with dogs of all sizes (she thinks they are wonderful toys!) and loves attention from kids. However Kiyone is NOT good with other cats and must go to a SINGLE CAT HOME.
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
