Richie.. bossy, but cat, dog older child friendly

This lovely boy is Richie and he is a quiet and happy man. Richie is a 4 year old Maltese x. He is toilet trained, sleeps all night inside(in a crate) and loves a daily walk(although he needs practice walking on the lead). He is also happy to be left at home inside when you need to go out. He is currently in foster care with 2 other small dogs, 1 large dog, 2 cats and 2 older children and gets on well with them all and would love to live with another friendly dog for company.

Richie will require a dedicated and consistent owner to build trust with him and to ensure that he remains happy. This will include telling him no and spraying him with a water bottle when he displays inappropriate behaviours. In his previous home he was allowed to do what he wanted and as a result of this, he did. This included toileting in the house and growling at almost anything. If you prove to him that you will not accept his bad behaviour you will have the most loving, loyal and affectionate little boy. Richie will also require regular professional grooming to ensure his coat remains tangle free

Richie now deserves a forever home and will only suit someone who is prepared to show him boundaries. He is currently in foster care in Noble Park. M/chip number 956000008900009
