About Mya
New into care more details coming soon.
Mya is a high energy dog with zero training.
Recovering from some stress induced gut issues we will take some time to let Mya settle in and for us to get to know her before we will place her in a furever home.
Mya's new owners will need to commit to ongoing obedience training starting with the basics, which her Foster Hero's will also be doing with her.
Mya's Foster Hero's will set boundaries and instill some much needed general life manners. Unfortunately no one has spent any time teaching this girl how to be a part of the family so she has no clue what is acceptable and not.
Mya is completely over the top with dogs at the moment, wanting to play, play, play and might I add quite roughly. She wants to be top dog and will try to challenge others. Her foster brother is super non-confrontational and time will tell whether she calms or whether this is a routine she will try on with all potential doggie friends.
She will back off if snapped at - and then go back for more if not told off again. Cheeky little thing. We will be working with her to encourage better doggie manners and are confident that with time she can learn appropriate behaviour.
Mya will need a furever home either with a well rounded male doggie companion or as an only dog home, where her people can spend time training her to be the best she can be.
Mya is not suited to a home with small dogs, cats, chickens, pocket pets or livestock. She will need a home with 6ft secure fencing.
Mya needs an adult only home.
Daily exercise is a must, ideally twice daily and she would be an excellent jogging companion. Mya would likely loooovve to participate in dog sledding - the definition of energiser-bunny-pocket-rocket!
Mya's profile will be updated as we learn more about her.
Medical notes
Currently recovering from Campy.
