About Terrence the handsome best friend cat
Terrence was found on the streets of the Westerns Suburbs half alive, starving and barely able to move with terrible bites and infections. A couple of weeks in care with Lost Dogs Home, Terrence got much better while waiting in vain for his owners to come for him. They never did.
Terrence is now a very good looking cat, with gorgeous markings, big turquoise green eyes and a long cheeky tail. He is very curious about his surroundings and likes to check everything out.
Terrence enjoys a cheek scratch, loves his food, and playing with his toy mouse or ping pong balls. His favourite activity is chasing after a length of braided cord - fancy toys just don’t impress him!
Terrence is also one to sit cosily beside you if you like to read or watch TV, but he equally likes his own time to sun himself on his window hanging daybed, or to just chill in his cosy little igloo (both provided). And with Terrence you can rely on him happily greeting you when you come home after being out - unless of course he’s sound asleep!
Terrence hasn't been tested with dogs or little children yet, but he likes people and other cats too. Terrence's very laid back personality makes us think he'll be an ideal family cat and could live with other pets very easily. He is clean, tidy and very well toilet trained, and he won’t scratch your furniture or the likes as he has been trained to use a piece of carpet which he gives a good going over several times a day.
If you're looking for the perfect feline companion to live with you in an apartment, Terrence is the boy for you. He's looking for a best friend, is it you?
Medical notes
Terrence is now in excellent health. He was left with FIV after the cat bites and because of this will need to be an inside only cat. He is cat social and can live with another cat, either FIV+ as well or vaccinated against FIV. He's also got a bit of a limp in his back leg, the vet says it looks like it was broken at some time in the past. Doesn't slow him down a bit!
Terrence has had all his vet work, he is desexed, microchipped, wormed, flea treated and vaccinated.
