Cooper is a lovely 7 month old Kelpie x. He sleeps in the crate at night without a peep. He gets along with dogs, cat and chickens however he does like to round them up. He has heaps of energy to burn like any kelpie. He would probably do best on a farm with a job to do or someone who would like to do agility or any dog sport. He is absolutely lovely, friendly to all he meets and great with kids. He is learning new thing every day, he can roll, drop, sit, leave, weave between legs and is learning to perch. He has only been with me for only 5 days and has learnt all this.

Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
Harvey Dog Training supports SHARI and has kindly offered to provide our adopted animals 30% off training/obedience classes. If you are keen to enrol your new puppy/dog please mention this in your email to us!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application must be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer. You must bring your dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption.
3. The animal must not be taken on the day unless prior arranged (travelling over a 2 hr round trip). If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment details will be given, this can take 2-3 days to finalize before the meet & greet so please give time.
4. 10 day trial period commences
5. Adoption is finalized after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
