About Macka ~ 1yo Dalmation x BC boy (on trial 19/2/17)
Introducing Macka! a stunning 13 month old male Dalmatian X Border Collie who always has the biggest, cutest smile on his face. This boy loves to please and is such a quick learner.
Macka is currently living with 4 other dogs (small, medium & large), an indoor cat and 3 children under the age of 10. He is house-trained and is happy to sleep either inside or outside.
Macka is very adaptable - he would be happy being a spoilt only fur-child if his people are home a large majority of the time. He would also be content as part of a working family - as long as he gets his morning and afternoon belly rub, a daily walk and they have a dog with a similar relaxed temperament as Macka is very intimidated by boisterous, rough dogs.
Macka is not a digger, jumper or barker and has good basic training. He is still a little anxious about car rides but is improving. He likes to play chase with his doggy friends here and even likes a game of fetch from time to time, but what he loves most of all is his family and belly rubs.
This boy is sure to bring lots of love to the lucky family that he chooses to be his new forever home.
For more information or to meet Macka, please contact Kat on 0415 449 053 or email katlewis1987@gmail.com. Macka is in foster care in the Maitland area, NSW (near Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Macka's adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
