About Max ~ Maltese x Shih Tzu senior (on trial 30/1/17)
Max is an adorable Maltese X Shih Tzu who is 6 years young and such a handsome little man.
Max loves his daily walk, weekly wash, occasional grooming, car rides, cuddles and the company of another dog who is about his same size.
He stands 28cm high and only weighs 4kg.....easy on the food budget.
Max recently came into DRN's care as a private surrender from a loving family with young children. He also would suit an elderly couple or person who may need a loyal companion and who can provide a loving home with a safe and secure yard.
For more information or to meet Max, please contact his foster carer Rowena on 0423 849 408 or email rowenagmurray@gmail.com. Max is in foster care in Lambton, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Max's adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
