Calista (adoption pending)

Calista is a loving, happy puppy girl with the innocence of youth but natural trainability and a lovely soft temperament. She's great with all people she meets.

She's still a little puppyish (likes to jump up for kisses) but is learning new basic obedience commands every day!

She isn't phased if dogs bark at her when she's out for a walk, and she doesn't haul or lunge on the leash, though of course gets the waggies when friendly dogs want to play!

She has been exposed to traffic, the Postie, workmen in high-vis clothing and noisy equipment like lawnmowers, ride-on mowers, chainsaws and stump grinding equipment, all without incident. Noise doesn’t seem to bother her and she isn’t interested in chasing vehicles.

She very rarely barks, but of course doesn't love being left alone for very long periods so will whinge a bit (but who doesn't)!

She is very loyal and likes to be right by your side. She is partly house-trained. She has a very shiny coat. She loves drinking from the hose and being wet down with the hose to keep her cool. Her favourite game is tug-of-war. She will chase a ball, but doesn’t return it at this stage.

Basically she's all the delightful things a pup should be but with a beautiful foundation temperament just ready to see her blossom into an exceptional companion!
