About Murray
Murray is an active and friendly kelpie mix male who is on the search for his perfect match. He is fantastic with other dogs and would do great in a home with another friendly and social doggie to socialise and interact with. He isn't of working quality, but he is a typical active kelpie male who needs both physical and mental stimulation to stay sane and occupied.
He would suit a home that wants a running buddy, maybe a doggie sport competition dog.
He would be best suited to a home with kids over the age of 7 as he can sometimes forget his manners and jump up on people. He hasn't been tested with cats so we are unsure how he would react to them. But he has met horses and chickens and shows to be quite confused by them and may bark to interact with them. But no aggression has been displayed at all within his interactions.
He would love some running space, so acreage would be wonderful but a home thats in the suburbs with the right amount of activity will be definitely suitable. Secure and safe fencing of at least 5ft is essential so he can stay secure in his own yard, but rural fencing is accepted as well as he has shown to be suitable for this in foster care.
Murray is ready to go by the end of January after the completion of his vet work and he is located in Ourimbah on the Central Coast NSW. His adoption fee is $400 and this includes his microchip, desexing, up to date vaccinations, heart worm/ flea/ tick and worming treatment.

In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
