About Orient
Orient is sweetness personified!
Such a sweet, gentle soul, this girl just lives for you. Super sooky, she loves nothing more than a pat or cuddle and will lean into you or sit very still for all that affection. Her photos don't do her justice at all, she's quite a lovely looking girl.
Great with other dogs, Orient is currently in care with 4 other large dogs, young and old and is happy to laze around with them and she really enjoys a good game of chasies or bitey face with the younger ones.
Super relaxed and chilled out, you'll rarely hear a peep from her as she quietly lays on her mat and snoozes if nothing is happening.
She's one of the easiest dogs around and is absolutely no trouble at all. A little submissive, she doesn't like it when you raise your voice, so an even tempered home would suit her best. She's a little scared of thunderstorms but will only need a dark space to lie in (under a table etc) and she's fine.
Orient has lovely manners and is house trained, sleeps beautifully through the night, is great in the car, is easily corrected and does need some further lead work as she's a little strong. She has been through some assistance dog assessments and passed, so could be trained to be an assistance dog and would make an awesome therapy dog as her temperament is amazing. Overall, a fantastic, all round great girl that would fit into most households.
She'll require a home with someone home most days and another playful dog for company would be ideal. Someone that will take her with them out and about would be great as she yearns to be with you. Whilst she's met cats with no interest shown, any home with a cat should always allow for slow, supervised introductions.
If you're looking for the ultimate companion and love bug, Orient is waiting for you.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
