About Mr Red
Mr Red will make the perfect companion dog. He is quiete and happy to laze around outside, but will enjoy that daily stroll to keep himself alert and fit.
Red is living in a family home with a 2 year old and cats, we must say he likes to "stare" at the cats and is fine with the child under supervision.
He is currently in foster care with a couple of 6 month old pups, and 4 other adult dogs with very little problem. He adores his toys, and his teeth chatter with excitement when they are bought out, BUT they do cause him to guard them with all his might, no other dog is allowed near his things.
In his foster situation we manage this simply by allowing Mr Red is toy time when the other dogs have been put away. He loves to play, cuddle and chew soft fluffy toys and will allow the human to pick them up and throw them with out any hesitation.
Mr Red is a beautiful boy who will make the most awesome companion dog. If you want that quieter unassuming kelpie who has been there done that, there is no doubt Red is your boy.

**PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE SENDING AN ENQUIRY OR CALLING US!**
OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
