About Suzie
Sweet little Suzie is the last of her litter to be looking for her forever family - is it you she has been waiting for?
This darling girl had a rough start in life and came from a very neglectful home but has been living the life in foster care for the past few weeks and is now happy, healthy and ready to meet her new family.
Like any good puppy Suzie is active and full of beans. She loves to play, cuddle, eat and nap. We expect Suzie to grow into a medium-sized dog of around 15 to 20kg (based on what we know about her parents) and being part border collie she will be an intelligent, quick-witted girl who needs lots of mental and physical stimulation throughout her lifetime. Daily walks and regular trips to the park and beach are a must!
We strongly encourage her new family to attend puppy classes and pursue on-going training in her early life to make sure Suzie is the best little girl she can be and to build a strong bond between her and her new family. If you are someone who is interested in really investing lots of time into your new companion - if you have ever thought about doing dog sports like agility, tracking, dancing with dogs or just on-going training - then Suzie and her inquiring mind are for you! She could also be great as a tradie's dog to come everywhere with you!
Suzie gets on well with other dogs and cats. She would do very well in a home with a good-natured male dog to keep her company and show her the ropes. As you can see, she has been having a ball with an 85kg great dane in her foster home so she has no fear of larger dogs!
Did we also mention how good she is at cuddles??

If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
