About Shenzi ED0082
Shenzi is beautiful both inside and out – her coat markings are so unusual and once met she is never forgotten.
Shenzi has such a love of life – she loves water either in a trough, pool or ocean; she loves the car, toys such as fetch the ball and tug-o-war rope with another dog. She loves people and she loves the other animals she shares her foster home with - alpacas, a goat, a roo, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, two cats and 2 resident dogs.
Shenzi’s carers describe her as easy going, affectionate, friendly, obedient, confident, active and playful – what more could you ask for in your best friend. Shenzi does occasionally snore very loudly which you could view as endearing :) Shenzi has not been tested with children.
Shenzi is a very well behaved dog, she walks quietly on leash, is not destructive and does not guard food or toys from other dogs or people. She never wanders off and stays close to home. Shenzi does have a very high energy level, is exercised both morning and evening and would therefore require an active home where she can also be part of family activities and be given play time. Shenzi is at present being fostered as an outside dog, but if given access indoors she may require some housetraining.
Shenzi has learned the commands sit, down, shake and come. She will generally bark at unusual noises or when someone comes to the door – she has a beautiful deep bark.
Shenzi is looking for an active home possibly with another dog. She would enjoy continued socialisation so organised playdates and/or attending classes such as agility (when old enough) would exercise and stretch her and make her a very happy girl. Shenzi adores affection and is very appreciative of all that she is given. If you would like a very special girl in your life who would brighten every day then Shenzi is waiting for you.
