Riley (D3476)

Riley is a friendly, scruffy prince with a gentle nature and a twinkle of puppy mischief. Coming from a community outside of Newman, he was very shy and timid – frightened of everything and everyone. Now Riley has found some confidence and is a different pup. He loves to play with his toys, is definitely going through his ‘chewy’ stage of development, so his KONG gets a big workout; he’s also going through the ‘digging’ stage so make sure he’s learnt where he’s allowed to dig – he is still a puppy! Riley also enjoys running and wrestling with other dogs and adores people – even delivery drivers – Riley’s always keen for a pat.

Food is definitely the way to his heart, any anxiety he has disappears if food is involved, so a family with patience, treats and positive reinforcement are a must. Riley has learnt to sit and is also learning to sit and wait for his food as well, so he needs a home and family who are willing to continue with his training, give him exercise and of course, lots of LOVE!

Even though he is coming out of his shell Riley is still quiet natured to start – until he gets to know you – then his confidence starts to show. Riley has scruffy/wiry fur and long legs but a slight frame. He is expected to grow to Medium/Large in size.
