About Panda ~ Tabby cat ~ male kitten (on trial 4/02/17)
Panda is a charismatic male tabby kitten who is a little fluffier than his siblings. He may need regular grooming as an adult so getting him use to a brush will be important. It would be lovely if Panda or one of his siblings could be homed with his mum who is also listed. They love each other dearly and would be a wonderful company for each other when no one is home
Panda is a very calm kitten who likes to sit on the window sill and watch the world go by. He thrives on chasing coloured string and sparkly balls all over the floor. He will also play with his siblings but often prefers to lay and watch them play.
Panda needs to be an inside cat and he is kitty litter trained. Panda is great with children, other cats and respectful dogs. With the right introduction he will be a wonderful companion for another animal.
Panda is in foster care in Maryland, NSW (Lake Macquarie) and is available for adoption interstate. For more information or to meet Panda, please contact Jaime by email jaihol@bigpond.com or on 0410 491 882, leaving a message with a name and contact details.
Panda’s adoption fee is $200 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
