About Megan ~ Tortoise Shell Cat
Megan is a 1 year old female tortoise shell cat. She has been a fabulous mother taking care of her 4 gorgeous kittens and now needs a furever home willing to love and take care of her in the same way. It would be lovely if Megan could be homed with one of her kittens who are also listed. Megan loves her babies dearly. She is scared of other cats and dogs and will need to go to a home with no other pets.
It would be wonderful if she could have one of her babies with her for company.
Megan needs to be an inside cat and she is kitty litter trained. Megan is very affectionate to all she meets; men, women and children. She is a very trusting cat who was always happy to let anyone see, pat and cuddle her kittens.
Whilst very cuddly Megan prefers to have her feet and body on the ground. In her own time (very short) she will be next to you for as many pats and cuddles as you will give her. Occasionally she will half sit in your lap.
Megan is in foster care in Maryland, NSW (Lake Macquarie) and is available for adoption interstate. For more information or to meet Megan, please contact Jaime by email jaihol@bigpond.com or on 0410 491 882, leaving a message with a name and contact details.
Megan’s adoption fee is $120 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
