About Skye ~ Greyhound (On Trial 29/1/17)
Meet Skye! An easy-going girl who just wants to hang out on the couch with you.
Whilst you are there, tickle her belly and she will be in heaven!
Skye is a pure-bred Greyhound and at only 2 years old, she has got plenty of loving to do. Affectionate, loyal and a bit cheeky, you won’t be able to help but fall in love with this beautiful girl.
Greyhounds make great pets and Skye is no exception. She is happy with one 20-minute walk daily and then she will snooze contently inside with you for the rest of the day. No marathon running for this lady!
Skye is a timid and shy at first but quickly warms up and bonds with her humans. Because she is a quiet, gentle soul - a single person, couple or family with older children over 12 would be best suited for her.
Skye is toilet trained but she won’t let you know when she needs to go. Setting up a regular toilet routine would be a must to avoid accidents.
You will find that Skye will become your best friend and most loving companion.
Skye’s adoption fee is $200 and she is de-sexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.
If you think you have the perfect family home for Skye, e-mail us now on emckenzie77@yahoo.com.au to fill in our adoption questionnaire. Please allow up to 24 hours for a response.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
