About Calista
Calista is a stunning girl, who has settled in easily to her foster environment.
She has been raised around dogs both large and small, as well as other kittens, and children. She is wonderful with children, and fine with kittens, however she is very unsure around dogs and easily frightened.
As she is only very young, this is something she may overcome, and if given the appropriate supervision and time to adjust, there is no reason why she couldn’t become friends with dogs.
Calista is an independent kitten, who loves exploring on her own. She gives beautiful cuddles, but does it on her terms. Calista would not be suited to someone looking for a lap cat, as she prefers to roam and come to you when she is ready.
The adoption fee includes desexing, vaccination, microchipping and up to date worming and flea treatments. Council registration, If required in your state, is not included in the adoption fee.

Our goal is to match pets' personalities and exercise/training requirements with people whose lifestyle they are best suited to. This reduces the chances of the pet winding up in a pound again. Please don't feel offended by our adoption process, it is for everyone's and every animal's benefit:
1. Submit application for adoption (obtain at Best Friends Pet Rescue website).
2. Homechecks are conducted on short-listed approved applicant(s).
3. Best match selected according to the pet's personality and needs.
4. Successful applicant notified, and must place holding deposit while transport/pickup arrangements made.
