About Tess
Tess is quietly affectionate, ideal for an apartment lifestyle, seniors or someone who is away from home a lot.
Tess came to us as a frightened tiny tortoiseshell kitten, found in an abandoned house. With a lot of love, time, care and affection Tess has blossomed to become independent yet affectionate in her own quirky ways.
Unfortunately, she developed a cataract in an eye at an early age, and the eye could not be saved. So she is now a one eyed pussy cat who is still beautiful.
She is still shy around strangers so needs a bit of time before building up confidence to meet new people. Then once she comes out, she loves playing with the string and rubbing her face on your ankle as a sign of affection. Sometimes she likes to just sit next to you whilst you're on the computer to keep you company as you work.
She is very clean, litter trained, loves her food and is not a fussy eater. She currently lives with other cats and a dog, although would be happy on her own or with other pets / children who are pretty chilled. She is also happy to live in a small space and doesn't have the need to roam like other cats do.
Tess is such a sweet, quirky and funny little cat and great company to have around. With patience and love, she will, in return show you so much affection and company.
