About Murphy ("Merv")
Murphy is a goof.
He is so friendly with people and even more amazing with dogs. Big. Small. Tall. Short. Old. Or young. Murphy loves them all.
He ran into a large pack of 15 plus dogs of all sizes and ages. And kissed every single one on the face.
He didn't show any hesitation with meeting so many different doggies and has found his own little group to run around and play with.
He is definitely suitable for a home with another friendly and social dog. Be it one to rumble with or one to keep company. He is happy with either. But he's also suitable as an only dog as he loves his humans attention as well.
He is going to be a large boy when fully grown and has shown to have a greyhound stamina. He exhausts easily but runs around at full speed for a short amount of time.
He would be best suited to kids over the age of 5 as he can sometimes be clumsy and knock them over. Never with any intention. Just doesn't know how long and lanky his body is quite yet.
He hasn't met any cats but we think with the correct introductions and training he would be perfectly fine with these.
He is still learning his recall and off leash training but has shown to be picking up his leash skills and basic obedience with consistency and ease. He will sit for food and isnt a guts so food interactions are easy.
He would suit a home with fencing that's safe and secure of at least 5ft or rural fencing will be accepted as well.
He is a really easy going guy. Happy to go along with the flow and happy as long as he can lick your face and get a cuddle.
Murphy is located on the central coast at Ourimbah and his adoption fee is $350 which includes his desexing, up to date vaccinations, life time registration, regular flea, tick, heart worm and worm treatment and microchip.

From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
