I’m Melly and I’ve just turned 8. I’ve had a few pups in my time, but those days are over and I’m looking for somewhere I can gracefully retire -or maybe un- gracefully as I’m a bit cheeky! Because I’ve had so many kids (Houston’s one of them, he was a cheeky monkey let me tell you!) I’ve got little patience for whipper snappers these days and would love somewhere that I will be waited on and have some space to myself. A comfy space to roach my days away, a few walks, and lots of love is all I ask for. I may be alittle grey around the muzzle, but it gives me character and I have plenty of that. Adoption details
Once we have found your new greyhound we will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
