About Kovu
Meet Kovu a young, intelligent and might I say good looking 18 month old desexed male German Shepherd currently in care at Sawyers Gully.
This young boy was surrendered to an animal shelter and abandoned by his former owner, no doubt because they did not have the time and energy to put into a young active Shepherd.
Kovu is a happy good natured dog who is learning the ropes, he is now fully house trained and learning to be social with his fellow rescue chums. He is voice responsive and very loving with his foster carer.
We would suggest he go to a home with children over seven years of age and who are dog savvy. Kovu will grow into a 35 kilo plus dog so he could knock a young child over in play.
Kovu is better suited to a home as a friend for a female dog and probably not cats as being a shepherd he does have the prey drive of this regal breed.
Smooth sleek coat and a handsome face this beautiful young dog just needs a home where he is provided with daily exercise, stimulation and inclusion in the family home.
For more information on Kovu please contact Linda.
