About Shimma
Stunning Shimma kind of speaks for herself. This blue-eyed beauty had a loving home for much of her life but she has recently fallen on hard times and through no fault of her own is now looking for a new loving family to dote on her and treat her like the queen she knows that she is for the rest of her days.
Shimma is smoochy and affectionate and enjoys human company immensely. But she is not very keen on other cats because she wants to be the apple of your eye, your one and only. At this stage we are unsure how she would go with dogs but would consider a home with a canine as long as you can introduce them slowly and sensibly. Shimma would be ideally suited to an indoor-only home to keep her safe - and anyway, why would you want to let her outside when that means less cuddle time?!
Don't fall in love with this girl just for her good looks - she has a stunning personality to go with them!
Medical notes
Shimma has just arrived in care all the way from Kalgoorlie. She has had a preliminary health exam and appears in very good condition with good body condition, a lovely coat and clean, healthy teeth. She will undergo a more detailed health check on Tuesday 17th January and will be ready to go to her new home any time from then onwards.
She does have a 'cauliflower' ear on the left side, meaning her ear suffered an injury in the past and did not heal correctly at the time so it is mis-shapen. This has no functional impacts on her or her hearing and we think it makes her even more unique and adorable! :)
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
