About Helios
Just look at that adorable face!
Helios is like a real live teddy bear – he is fluffy, cuddly and absolutely adorable. He has a great temperament as he is relatively calm and placid for a puppy. Helios loves to get affection and pats, and even a tummy rub please! He is very sweet and gives lovely little kisses in return for your affection if you let him. The other side of Helios is fun and playful. He enjoys playing with a range of different types of toys and even better if there is another doggy friend or person to play with them with him. Helios has met a couple of children while in care and was very gentle and calm while they patted him.
During his time in care, Helios has been well socialised with a range of dogs. He is very social and well mannered with all the other dogs. Helios particularly likes to play with some of the other puppies or even some of the big dogs if they get down low enough for him. He is not annoying to the adult dogs and enjoys just being around the other dogs. Helios will grow into a large dog and will require daily exercise as he gets older to keep him healthy and happy throughout his life.
Helios has begun basic training which includes walking on a lead and sitting for a yummy treat. He is food motivated and responsive to his carer. It is very important that his new family are committed to continuing his training so that he can grow up to be the best dog he can. Helios is progressing well with crate training and is starting to learn to use puppy pads for toileting in the house.
We are looking for a home where Helios will be a part of the family, get lots of attention and cuddles, and will be included in the daily activities or outings. He will require another doggy companion and/or someone home more often than not to ensure that he gets the attention that he deserves. Helios should be allowed inside to be with the family and will require a comfy bed inside to sleep on at night out of the weather. At this stage he has not been tested with other types of pets but with the appropriate training and supervision he should be able to live harmoniously with other pets.
If you would like to make this darling boy a part of your family, then let us know.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
