Who doesn’t love a puppy with a cute eye patch?

Meet the adorable little Arevik! This boy is a happy puppy who is relatively chilled in life. He enjoys interacting with people and will be friendly with anyone who he meets. Arevik is discovering that human cuddles are pretty awesome and that people give nice pats. Tummy rubs are definitely good things and he will give you a few little licks in return for your affection if you let him. Arevik is a relatively confident puppy who is happy to wander around the house and yard finding his own things to do. But if you’re up for some fun and a game he will happily join in as he also likes to play with toys.

During his time in care Arevik has been socialised with a range of dogs and enjoys their company. He even likes to say hi to the really big ones! Arevik can be seen just chilling with the other dogs in the yard or engaging his brother and other friends in some playtime. He will be a relatively active dog when he grows up and will require daily exercise and stimulation to keep him healthy and happy throughout his life. Arevik would thrive with trips to the dog park or beach where he can meet lots of new doggy friends and continue his socialisation.

Arevik has begun basic training and he responds well to positive reinforcement. It is very important that his new family are committed to continuing his training so that he can reach his potential. This may involve puppy school and further dog training classes which would keep his mind stimulated and help build the bond between dog and owner(s). Arevik is currently progressing with is toilet training but this will need to be continued in his new home.

We are looking for a home where Arevik will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities and outings. He will require a home with another dog and/or someone home more often than not so that he has some companionship. Arevik should be allowed inside with the family and will require a comfy bed inside to sleep on at night out of the weather. At this stage Arevik has not been tested with other non-canine pets but with the correct introductions and training he should be able to live harmoniously with other animals.
