About Heilki
Heilki is the daughter of Helsa. Helsa and her kittens were found in Townsend, not far from the Pacific Highway overpass in March 2016. We received the call to come and get them as they needed to be moved due to dogs nearby. One of my volunteer foster carers spent several days making sure we had mum and all her babies. She had been observed with 6 but we only were able to find 4. They have become the H team and are beautiful, playful mischievous affectionate young cats ready to go to lovely new homes. They have been immunised, desexed and micro-chipped.
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, \ fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
