Picture a standard male blue heeler. Then imagine he’s been put under a shrink ray and reduced to half his normal size. That’s Bongo.

Bongo is a super happy, super friendly dog that loves people, young and old, and gets on great with other dogs (he has been known to chase cats). He loves trotting around faithfully at his humans’ heels when they’re home, playing with his doggy companions, and getting belly rubs.

Vet estimates put his age at around five years – past the annoying puppy stage, but with many years of loyalty and affection to offer.
Like many pound rescues,

Bongo doesn’t appear to have had much in the way of obedience training before coming into foster care, so his new owners will be willing to work with him on skills like “sit”, “stay” and “come back”.

Fortunately, he is smart and eager to please, so this promises to be a relatively easy job.
