Looking for your new best friend? Then meet Nalu!
Nalu is a sweet, loving and gentle soul. She is very affectionate with her foster carers and loves to tuck her head into them for cuddles. Nalu is very loyal to her people but can be a little shy and timid when she first meets strangers. She quickly warms up once she trusts you and will become more her usual darling self. This little girl would love to be somebody’s loyal companion whom she can follow around and snuggle with. Nalu is very intuitive to human emotions and will do her best to comfort her foster carers if they are having a bad day.
Nalu has been socialised with a range of dogs while in care and enjoys the company of other dogs. She has been to the off lead dog park and does well meeting new dogs, though she prefers them not to be too boisterous and overwhelming. She has also been in care with large dogs and other puppies. Once familiar with other dogs, Nalu likes to play with her friends. She will require daily exercise and playtime but is not high energy. Nalu would enjoy trips to off lead dog parks or beaches where she can follow you along on the walk which she does very well.
During her time care, Nalu has progressed well with basic training. She is food motivated and willing to please which makes her easy to train. Nalu looks to her people for guidance and reassurance in new situations and thrives off positive reinforcement. So far Nalu has learnt how to sit, drop (lie down), come and her basic manners. It is important that her family are committed to continuing her training as she is still young and needs continued exposure to the world. Nalu would benefit from a family who are patient and able to help her build her confidence with different situations and stimuli through socialisation and training.
We are looking for a home where Nalu will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities. She would do best in a quieter and calmer household, and benefit from dog experienced owners who can bring out the best in her. Nalu will require the company of another dog and/or someone who is home more often than not as she really enjoys human companionship. Although she loves to explore the garden, Nalu would prefer to be an inside dog with access to the yard and she will require a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night.
If you would like to make this little treasure a part of your family then let us know.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
