Abby

Abby is a stunning girl with a very sweet, affectionate and playful disposition.

Abby loves her humans. She is extremely affectionate. She is the classic velcro dog. She will shadow you, watch what you are doing and snuggle up for a cuddle at every opportunity. She absolutely loves playing with her humans too, tug is one of her favorite things to do!

She is looking for a home where her humans will be around more often than not to spend time with her. She is best suited as an only dog. She has lived with other dogs. But, she gets very bossy and jealous of attention. She prefers all the love to be lavished on her. She is not suited to a home with cats or pocket pets. They are fun to chase. So, being the only furry companion around the house is a must and no young kids.

Abby has done obedience training, she is trained to walk on a lead and obey basic commands such as sit, drop and heel. She is also crate trained (a crate is recommended for Abby to give her a safe space). If on lead she can be fearful of other dogs, this can cause her to be reactive towards them. She walks well on a halti when out walking. She is highly intelligent, food motivated and eager to please. She is extremely trainable; in fact she really enjoys learning new things. She is playful and mentally active and would benefit from a high-activity household that will spend time with her and channel all her energies.
