About Munni
Munni is a beautiful old girl with the biggest smile you will see! She first came into CRQ's care with such severe ear infections that she required invasive surgery to open up her ear canals. She was a little anxious when we first met her, however since her surgery, she's become far happier and more settled. only displayed some separation anxiety the first couple of days when she arrived but since having her ear surgery she is so much happier.
Munni is such a friendly little dog and she loves the other dogs in her foster home. She's become best mates with her foster carers Staffy x and gets along with dogs of all sizes. Munni shares her foster home with a very grumpy cat, but she's smart enough to know to give him space. She would do fine in a home with cats, and we'd really like to see her adopted to a home with other dogs. If Munni didn't have any canine companions in her new home, she'd be best with a family who have someone home a lot as this little girl just thrives on being social.
Munni is excellent with children and knows to be gentle. She'd make a lovely family dog. She's also a good little watch dog - she barks if strangers enter the yard but calms very quickly when she recognises they're no threat. She wouldn't hurt a fly so don't count on her being a guard dog though.
Munni walks well on the lead and doesn't try and pull or carry on. She likes to have a good sniff around but keeps up with the larger dogs without any problems. She currently goes for a daily walk, however she not an overly energetic dog so wouldn't go stir crazy if she missed her morning walk - she's quite content to spend the day on the couch too.
Overall Munni is an all-round brilliant dog and everyone who meets her loves her!
Medical notes
All Chihuahua Rescue Queensland dogs have been fully health checked by our vets. We offer a free post-adoption health check with Greencross Vets at Chermside, Jindalee, Browns Plains or Indooroopilly hospitals. This gives you the opportunity to talk directly to the vet about any questions you may have. We provide all veterinary records for each dog, including copies of blood tests, any relevant xrays and medical notes.
All Chihuahua Rescue Queensland dogs are desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. We test all our dogs for heart worm and treat them with regular parasite prevention.
Munni had severe dental disease and ear infections when she came into care. She had to undergo surgery on her ear canals and a dental. She will be available for adoption when she has recovered completely.
