About Rika
Please note: Rika and Rosaline absolutely adore each other and will be rehomed together.
Hey there! I’m Rika. I’m talkative and friendly and will meow out to say hello when you walk past and enter the room. When you do greet me I love nothing more than a pat and snuggle in your loving arms.
I like to sleep with my human foster mum and my sister Rosaline – who looks heaps like me which is great. I can be a quiet girl but I love smooches with our foster mum and our foster kitty brothers and sisters.
I like to make sure Rosaline is clean and ensure I give her at least one grooming session every couple of days, and vice versa of course as we like to present ourselves as well-heeled young kittens around the house and as we never know who we might meet.
We are both interested in watching the birds outside, particularly from a lovely sunny corner, even better if there is a warm comfy blanket nearby to curl up on when the action is all over. I’m a confident girl and am more than happy for Rosaline to lead, even though she may lead me into mischief sometimes, but that's what big sisters are for aren’t they?
I don’t want to sound vain, however let’s face it, we’re beautiful, confident and affectionate girls just waiting to meet our forever family - could this, be you?
Please note: our cats are not available for interstate adoption. We also do not adopt to people under the age of 25 years.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you too as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
