Jules the Kelpie pup - Do you have the space & time to work with this lovely boy?

The below are notes from foster carer:

He is constantly running and a bigger yard (we have the spare block beside us 15 x 30 feet) would help a lot with his energy levels, now that he has settled in he is starting to nip at hands/wrists for attention and games. Its not a growling warning, its just his instinct as a Kelpie to nip and it escalates quickly,

He is easily stimulated by sound (TV, people talking, hands moving) and will take time to adjust to being a lounge dog. Out in the laundry on his bed, he will happily lie and is content on his own in the backyard.

He is quiet and a non-barker, mostly gentle but in need of some corrections and obedience. He doesnt really have any naughty habits, you can even leave a bag of food out and he doesnt help himself. I wouldn't place him with a family with young children, only an experienced working dog/Kelpie owner with teenagers and a large fenced yard.

He is completely house trained and will sit for any food. He is also unaware of his strength (trying to paw at faces, crashing through doors) and will bash gardens to death if there are bugs in them to chase, he is not a digger just a chaser. We do play fetch with two toys at a time and his favourite toy is the three balls on a rope.

We have been using the words NO, STOP, BED, DOWN, SIT & GOOD BOY, I also to high pitched ouches when nips my fingers.

He's a good dog with a lot to offer, with the right training he will be a great dog.
