About Jezabel ~ Boxer x Bull Arab (on trial 9/02/17)
Meet sweet Jezabel! – I’m a loving and playful 10 month old Boxer x Bull Arab girl and I cannot wait to have a family of my own!
I’m very friendly and I love to meet new dogs and people! I have not met a dog or person (big or small) that I haven’t made friends with.
During the day I like to play outside with my foster sister or just to hang out with my foster family. At night I simply adore snuggling up to my human whilst looking into your eyes or to gently snore next to you while you’re watching a movie.
I need to have a dog companion to keep me amused and busy, unless my family is home all the time. I don’t mind being left outside when you are not home as long as I have company.
I’m well-mannered I think. I will sit and wait for treats and meals and I know sit, down, to come when called and not to jump. But being young I do sometimes forget my manners and jump a little when I get excited to see you, so kids 5 years and up (that I’m less likely to accidentally knock over) would be a good match for me.
Like most dogs, I need daily exercise. I love going for walks to explore the world with you and I walk quite well on a harness. I’m sure I would love to go running with you too when I get older. I am of course house trained.
I have met a cat without showing anything but playfulness, but like all dogs I should have a slow and managed introduction to any cats in the family. I am not suited for a home with birds or pocket pets.
If you think I can be part of your family, please contact my foster mother so that we can meet!
For more information or to meet Jezabel, please contact her foster mum Amanda by emailing amandalloyd83@hotmail.com. Jezabel is located in Newcastle, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Jezabel's adoption fee is $450 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
