About Tara
Let me introduce myself....My name is Tara and sadly, at 3 weeks of age, my brothers and sisters and myself lost our mum to a snake bite. We were then surrendered to Wally's, where we have been loved and cared for by our foster families.
I'm in care with my brothers Jasper and Riley. We are living in a family environment and have 2 host dogs to play with and keep us entertained as well as 3 cats and also pocket pets. There are no small children in our home, just teenagers and adults and I'm happy to play with anyone who's willing to play with me, or cuddle me.
My foster mum says I'm a no-nonsense girl who isn't afraid of anything, cheeky, playful, active and a water baby. I love to pounce on my siblings and wrestle with them and whilst I may be the smallest of the 3, I have the biggest personality! As yet I've not had any leash training but given that I'm still so young, this is something my new family will help me with I'm sure.
Although I'm still just a baby, I am learning some basic commands....I will sit when asked to and come when called. I've never shown any food aggression whilst in care, but do know how to stand up for myself. I do sometimes bark at the cats in my foster home as I'm not really sure what they are just yet and although I do try and get them to play with me, they just don't seem to be in that.
My perfect home would be with a person/family who understands that dogs are part of the family and not just something to keep outside. I know I'm damn cute now, but remember that just like a baby, I will grow up into a medium to large dog who will love you just as much, if not more than the day you brought me home. My hope is for you to feel the same way about me. I'll come on adventures with you, snuggle with you, meet new friends with you....in return, please take the time to train me while I'm young and love me, so the memories we create will be happy ones.
I will be available for adoption from 15th Jan, once all my vet work is done. I'm located in Narara, on the Central Coast, NSW.

Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
